I was in an old car with my children. I hit and ran over a young person on a mini car..who go all tangled up in my wheel well..but he didn't die immediately. I didn't dare tell the police because they put me in jail. I wanted it to just go away but it wouldn't and deep down I knew my children knew. I saw no relief
Dreams involving accidents, particularly those that involve harm to others, often reflect deeper anxieties, guilt, or fears in your waking life. The imagery of being in an old car with your children suggests a journey through life marked by your experiences and the passage of time. Cars in dreams often symbolize your control over your life's direction and the path you are taking.
Hitting and running over a young person in a mini car could represent feelings of neglect or a fear of causing unintentional harm. The young person might symbolize parts of yourself or others that are vulnerable, perhaps reminiscent of a time in your life when you felt innocent or carefree, much like a child. The mini car indicates a situation that felt small or manageable at first but became overwhelming unexpectedly.
The entanglement of the young person in your wheel well could signify how unresolved issues or guilt are getting tangled up with your current life and responsibilities. This can point to fears of consequences that feel unmanageable, as well as your desire to escape from them. Your instinctive wish for the situation to "just go away" might reflect an internal struggle with confronting fears or guilt, perhaps tied to past actions or decisions that haunt you.
Your reluctance to inform the police indicates a fear of authority and a concern about accountability. This could symbolize a broader fear of being judged or facing repercussions for your actions, whether they are physical, emotional, or moral. This could also tie to a fear of not being seen as a good parent, especially if you felt your children were aware of what happened.
The absence of relief in the dream highlights an emotional burden or anxiety that you may be carrying in your waking life. It might indicate that there is an issue or decision you are avoiding, leading to feelings of guilt or fear of consequences. The fact that you felt your children knew could symbolize your awareness of the impact your actions may have on those you care about and your anxiety around being perceived as a flawed figure in their eyes.
In summary, this dream might be inviting you to explore feelings of guilt, anxiety, or internal conflict. It could suggest the need to confront these emotions and address any unresolved issues instead of avoiding them, as they may be weighing heavily on your mind. It may be beneficial to reflect on recent life experiences that may have triggered these feelings and consider seeking support or guidance in processing them.
